First HOPE Meeting
-Interaction with Pioneers of Knowledge-

February 25 to 28, 2008
The title "HOPE" signifies the promise held for young scientists
and the optimism for a bright science and technology future in the Asia-Pacific region. HOPE Meetings give opportunities to excellent graduate students selected from countries in the region to engage
in interdisciplinary discussions with Nobel laureates and other distinguished scientists pioneering the frontiers of knowledge.
It is hoped that the experience the students gain at the meeting
will inspire and motivate them to become excellent scientists
able to shoulder the future of science and technology in the region.
